Emmy award winning Photojournalist/Videographer/Editor.
Experience working in news, sports, healthcare, military, media relations, non-profit and higher education. Tasked with creating artful and impactful video on a daily basis. Non-Linear editing experience on several platforms.
I spent 3 years with The University of Texas at Arlington as an
Assistant Director for Multimedia. I was tasked with producing and executing journalistic, documentary, multimedia content for use in video presentations, web and online media, social media, and external media which highlighted the research, innovations, and achievements of faculty, staff, alumni, and students.
Prior to working at UTA, I spent 16 years as a Senior Photojournalist with WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas. I covered both national and international stories, including the September 11th attack on NYC, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, the funeral for Pope John Paul II in Rome, John Glenn's return to space, and the Branch Davidian Stand-off near Waco.
Working on various video projects allows me to adapt to different environments and projects quickly and efficiently.
I love having the ability to meet new people and learn new things daily. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills have been the key to success in my career.
